Class format: 9 x Week blocks, run throughout the year

Time: Wednesday nights 6.00pm - 9.00pm

Location: UNIT A1, 35-39 Bourke Rd, Alexandria, 2015
The Process:
Our experienced acting coach will provide you, the actor, with material from current TV shows and feature films, to rehearse and prepare for class. We film and shoot your scene in our professional self tape studio. You will be given detailed notes and multiple opportunities to explore the material and incorporate the feedback into your performance. There is a focus on acting techniques for truthful and real performance as well as technical notes such as hitting marks and eye lines and many more.
All of your acting work is recorded and sent to you as a downloadable link the following day. This footage can be used to reflect upon your work, and to help you find an acting agent, to send to casting directors, or use as an acting showreel. Many acting students from Sydney Screen Acting have secured acting agents in Australia, and internationally using footage shot in class.

I Can’t recommend Sydney Screen Acting enough. I’ve been attending Matt’s class for years. Matt takes the time to create a supportive and respectful environment - he’s a clever person with a big heart. He has a lot of love for the profession, and for the people that attend his classes. One of his greatest traits as a teacher is catering his teaching style to the individual rather than taking a more broad approach. Would recommend for any actor regardless of experience level.
